adding an emhancement

this is a pic of the same card on last entry. but i thought something was missing on it. so my friend cathy emailed me some butterflies that i could print on cardstock and cut out for embellishments. when i seen them i knew it was exactly what i needed on this card. so here is the updated version. thanks again cathy!

TODAY WAS A PLAYDAY

WELL SINCE SCHOOL IS OUT AND JULIE AND I CAN PLAY ALMOST EVERYDAY, TODAY WE HAD ANOTHER PLAYDATE AT MY HOUSE. THE KIDS GO SWIMMING WHILE JULIE, DONNA, JACKIE AND I PLAY. JULIE MADE ABOUT 10 CARDS WHICH AGAIN I FORGOT TO GET PICS OF AND I MADE 3 CARDS AND 2 LAYOUTS. JACKIE MADE A FEW PAGES AND DONNA PLAYED WITH HER NEW TOY, THE BIG KICK. THIS IS MY FINISHED WORKS OF ART.

A GREAT FIND TODAY

THIS IS A PACK OF 12X12 PAPER I FOUND TODAY AT WALMART IN MARRERO. IT HAS SOME GREAT LOOKING PAPER IN IT. WHEN I FIRST SEEN IT I THOUGHT OF A CARD JULIE MADE YESTERDAY AT MY HOUSE. THE PAPER WAS ONLY $9.88 FOR 200 SHEETS. 4 SHEETS OF 50 DESIGNS.

sorry i have been neglecting my blog

hey everyone. it has been so hectic the last few weeks, i really had no time to do any scrapbooking or cardmaking. but we only have 7 days of school left. yee-haw. well these are the cards from the card swap from the spm event i was in. it was 12 ladies and we each had a different holiday. i had get well but i already posted those. the last pic is a card i made for a cousin's birthday. i copied the card from the swap in the 1st pic. i was very happy with each of them. it is funny how people can come up with different ideas. i also made a card for a friend using the layout from the bottom right card in the 1st pic. it is a easter card but i turn it into a b-day card. i forgot to take a pic( yeah i know it hard tobelieve i forgot to take a pic)i told ya it's been a crazy month. hopefully i will make it to lisa's crop on may 24 and get bunches done. i must try to go. for 3 other cats plan to be there. meow. till later.

LAST WEEKEND THE SCRAPPIN PACKIN MOMMA'S INVITED ME TO THEIR CONVENTION. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. UNFORTUNATELY I WAS ONLY ABLE TO ATTEND ON SATURDAY. WE HAD A BLAST. THANK YOU LADIES. YOU ALWAYS GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO ENTERTAIN US. WELL THESE ARE THE 5 LAYOUTS I GOT TO GET DONE. TOO BAD I STLL HAVE 100'S TO GET DONE. I SAT NEXT TO MOMMA 411 AND GOT TO CATCH UP WITH HER. sorry i've been busy busy

sorry i haven't updated in a while. i have been crazy busy around the house,yard, school and kids. this is a card that a made a few weeks ago for a friend and decided to sent it to a different friend whose b-day was yesterday.( the other friend is in july)(still have plenty time). tomorrow i will get to play for a little while at debbie's stampin up party. i'll post what we make. cause you know with lisa it will be several awesome item. till then goodnight.
